I am Shamar Speaks born on the 29 December 1994, I am a writer, poet , spoken word artist and as of recently an author.
I published my first book on the 12 July 2021 and it's launching on the 17 December 2021.
This deep transformational book is based on my journey going through depression and self harming/suicide and social anxiety.

“I started a few years ago...” I always had a passion for writing more than I would have liked to admit, every experience I had and still have I would write about no matter what it is... Ever since that I started to pursue writing more and even started getting more "stage time" as a spoken word artist, that's when I really felt in my heart that everything I was writing is going to help so many people out there especially those with mental health issues , with that being said I am a first time published author.
